show what events are in my area
Based on my zip code, street address or ip, show the events in my area.

Please let me set the location and the radius of interest. Currently, I'm in Sunnyvale, CA, and it shows everything in California. I'm not going to LA for some game...

I completely agree with the above comment. Also, this would be really nice for people who are new to an area or visiting somewhere and looking for something in the neighborhood to do.

Allowing people to set this in their settings. I would love to come onto this site weekly and see a list of events going on in my area. Definitely a means of boosting sales.

This would be helpful as a sidebar or "suggested" tab. I don't agree that you should default to the events in the area.
